GTCFX Appoints Charbel Raffoul as CEO After Hiring General Manager

GTCFX appointed Charbel Raffoul as its chief executive officer in an announcement published October 19. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, including work in compliance, corporate governance, financial operations, and strategic management.

Experience in Compliance and Financial Operations

According to GTCFX, Raffoul spent more than eight years at Equiti as chief compliance officer and head of financial crime. In that role, he worked on compliance frameworks and regulatory practices.

His previous positions include director at ADS Securities, head of compliance at Alpari ME, and back-office manager at Swissquote.

Focus on Strategy and International Growth

As CEO, Raffoul will lead GTCFX's strategy and oversee its operations, innovation, corporate governance, and international business development. He'll also focus on improving operational efficiency and strengthening relationships with clients and partners.

Appointment Follows General Manager Hire

Before naming Raffoul CEO, GTCFX appointed Al Ali as general manager. Ali previously worked as a legal specialist in the Enforcement Department of the UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority, now called the Capital Market Authority.

In his new role, Ali is responsible for operational efficiency, organizational development, and internal management standards. The appointments add regulatory and compliance experience to GTCFX's leadership team.
